This rich and complex Cabernet Franc from Villány (Hungary’s southernmost region) single- handedly explains why critics have called Hungary the “new home” of Cabernet Franc. Ripe with a delicious core of red currant, cherry, fruitcake, floral and licorice notes that glide through the creamy, lengthy finish. Pure and focused. Fermentation was spontaneous with native yeasts. The wine was aged in new and old Hungarian barrels for 12-16 months.
